LONG ISLAND / NYC CHAPTER MEET STUDENT CHAPTER OF AFE Annual Meeting – October 2022

On October 18, the Student Chapter of AFE (Association for Facilities Engineers) hosted their annual meeting with the Local LI and NYC Chapter membership. Priya Domadia ’18 discussed her career at Blackrock and the opportunities available to facilities engineering students in the industry. The group toured the new Marine Engineering Systems lab and enjoyed dinner at Paddies on the Bay. AFE has regularly supported the College, inviting students to Association events, and assisting in planning powerplant and other industry visits. AFE provides a $5,000 scholarship to at least one student annually. The Chapter was recognized as the National Student Chapter in 2021.
