DELAWARE VALLEY / PHILADELPHIA CHAPTER 12th Annual Fall Golf Outing and Crab Feast – September 2022

In September, the Chapter held its 12th Golf Outing and Crab Feast at historic Fort Mifflin on the Delaware River. Basking in the bright autumn sunshine, folks were already looking forward to the All-Academy Holiday party on December 20th.

HOUSTON CHAPTER The Houston Alumni Chapter held a Wednesday night Maritime Happy Hour in September 2022 at the Southern Yankee Crafthouse in Houston, TX, midway through the three-day Breakbulk Americas Exposition. It drew over 70 attendees including 13 Fort Schuyler cadets, several of whom were offered job leads and business cards for follow-up on graduation. Says Carl Hausheer ’79, Area Sales Manager for StormGeo and Chapter Ambassador for the MCAA, “The rewarding thing about these events is seeing the way we support each other. For recent graduates starting out these gatherings provide the opportunity to meet people who can help advance their careers. For older graduates it’s an opportunity to meet and discuss the challenges they face. I’ve seen job interviews at the bar and many lively discussions about the challenges the industry faces.”
