SUNY Provost Offers Keynote at Undergraduate Research Conference Maritime College hosted the April 14 SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC).

SURC brings together undergraduate student researchers and faculty mentors from across the SUNY system for a full day of multidisciplinary activities. Among the day’s activities included a luncheon with Keynote Speaker SUNY Provost Dr. Shadi Shahedipour-Sandvik, student presentations, artistic displays, poster sessions, a Career Fair, and professional development workshops for students and for faculty. During Dr. Shahedipour-Sandvik’s Keynote Address, students shared their perspectives of undergraduate research.
