Edward Pollard ’09 (right) is working as a CONMAR (Contract Mariner for MSC with AMO) and presently sailing as Second Mate on the USNS Bob Hope. In March 2020, the USNS Bob Hope sailed to Homer and Anchorage, Alaska to redeploy equipment and supplies including trucks and helicopters. While in Alaska, Edward met up with his good friend and classmate Jordan Gould ’09 who recently made Deputy Pilot with Southwest Alaska Pilot Association. Hong Kong

Domers ran into each other at the port of Chuk Sa Met, Thailand during the Joint/Multi-National Military Exercise COBRA GOLD ’19. CDR Don Moore ’00, USN, CO (MSC EXP PORT UNIT 115), Conor Sullivan ’06, Chief Mate (M/V Cape Hudson (T-AKR-5066)), and Captain John Woods ’85, MSC Far East.

Bahamas

Look who met up at the Grand Bahama Shipyard Ltd in February. It’s Tom Spina ’94 (right), SVP – Operations at Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line, who worked alongside Gerard Douglas ’11, senior Project Manager at the Yard.

In September 2019, when Schuyler alumni expats Blaine Wu ’88, Jon Zinke ’75, and Matt Fenton, TSES VI Watch Officer, heard that Art Sulzer ’74 would be in Hong Kong for a few days, they made sure to arrange an alumni gathering. They and their wives enjoyed catching up in downtown Hong Kong as well as their ferry ride to Po Toi Island for the day.
