Dear Friends,

It is a privilege to send greetings to everyone attending SUNY Maritime College's Annual Admiral's Dinner. Congratulations to tonight's esteemed honorees, with gratitude for their service to the College and their community. I commend Maritime College - the oldest and largest maritime college in the nation - for all it does to educate the future leaders of the global maritime industry. Founded in 1874 as the New York Nautical School, the College is justly proud of its superb employment placement rate for careers in the maritime industry, armed forces, engineering, and beyond. Although this year's extraordinary circumstances prevent you from gathering in person as you have in years past, I know the Maritime College community will forge ahead to support the school. This year, as families across the nation face economic uncertainty, the funds for much-needed student scholarships raised at this dinner are more important than ever. I am grateful to all of you for your dedication to Maritime College. I send my best wishes for a wonderful evening and much success in the future. Sincerely,
