It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to the State University of New York Maritime College Admiral’s Dinner. I would also like to extend my congratulations to this year’s honorees: Jennifer Carpenter, Lindsay Price, Michael Roberts, and Mark Ruge. Thank you for your generous support of the U.S. Maritime community. For almost 150 years, SUNY Maritime has been dedicated to educating and supporting mariners in New York. By preparing students for careers in maritime engineering, transportation, and services in the armed forces, SUNY Maritime helps strengthen not only the maritime industry, but also our community. I am grateful for your service to District 34, and your commitment to servicing the people of New York.
